About Restored+ Design Co.
The inspirational story of Restored+ Design Co. begins in 1998, when Rodney and Lisa Gentry opened the doors of T-Shirts Plus on Highway 171 in DeRidder, Louisiana. Their vision was simple yet powerful: to bring custom creative opportunities to the local community. What started as a small, family-run shop quickly evolved into a hub for personalized items, including business cards, custom shirts, vinyl signs, embroidery, name-brand clothing, fashion accessories, and even notary services.
For over a decade, the Gentry's built more than a business—they built a family legacy. Husband and wife worked side by side while raising their three young children, who grew up learning to help others, as well as the family trade, customer care, and the value of hard work. In 2010, the final storefront on North Street closed its doors, but the creative spirit of T-Shirts Plus lived on. Even after Rodney’s passing in 2014, the heart of the business remained woven into the family’s story.
Carrying that legacy forward, their daughter has continued to keep the creativity alive by designing shirts, hats, business cards, and expanding into the digital world. Over the past 15 years, she has served numerous individuals and businesses throughout the community with custom design work, often at their request or by word of mouth.
Today, I am pleased that Restored+ Design Co. honors the same spirit my parents began—one rooted in family, community, and creativity—while embracing new opportunities in both physical and digital design. From invitations and character letters to flyers, banners, company forms, vinyl signs, and apparel, the mission remains the same: to provide thoughtfully crafted, customized designs that bring your vision to life.
Looking ahead, Restored+ Design Co. aims to continue growing as the addition of potential drafting services, offered through a younger brother, carries on the family tradition of creativity and innovation, expanding the ways we can better serve our community.
